NER Spring 2011 Mount Equinox Drive
Second checkpoint of the Spring New England Rally was Mount Equinox. When we got there we discovered that we were the only cars on the road, so we had a little fun. The road is 5.2 miles long (the longest privately owned paved road in America) and has a vertical climb of 3,248 feet. We did the climb twice, one of the best driving experiences of my life so far.
New England Rally 2010 Video
Final compilation of some of the footage that we took on the 2010 New England Rally. All the video was shot with our GoPro cameras, which were little champs at staying suctioned to the roof. We shot over 30gb of video (roughly 15 hours of it). I tried playing with a few new techniques in post production, most of it came out awesome. But there are parts that if I had another week or two I'd like to polish up. Let me know what you think of the video! Make sure to show all of your friends :)
If you like what you see go on over to NewEnglandRally.com and sign up for next year! We'd love to cruise with you.
Team O'Neil Rally School
This video was taken at the 5th checkpoint of the 2010 New England Rally, Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH. They were awesome and took us all out for a ride in their cars. There was a rear-wheel drive BMW, and an all wheel drive Audi. This video was taken from the roof of the BMW, with one of their professional driving instructors at the wheel. It was quite a ride :)
Walkie Talkie Chatter
Here is an audio recording of some of the walkie talkie chatter that kept us entertained for most of the drive. This clip was taken just before and after our traffic stop in Maine. Unfortunately this clip was of the more entertaining chatter, and not of the technical, useful, plannning chatter. Walkie Talkies are a must on a rally.
